Having long lectured in Strategy I have chosen to hopefully fill a gap in the current knowledge regarding Business Goals and their effect on business performance.
Jeff is an Executive Fellow and Associate Faculty Member of Henley Business School. He is Programme Director for the open course, The Strategy Programme , develops client tailored programmes and contributes to a number of executive programmes. He has lectured at Henley Business School in business strategy, business goal setting and commercial management for the past 14 years, bringing practical solutions and real-world experience. He is also currently working on his doctorate at University of Southampton researching “The effect of business goals on employee engagement and business performance”.
Jeff initially worked in oil exploration as both an engineer and a manager before doing an MBA followed by being a Divisional Manager for Abbott Laboratories. For the past 23 years Jeff has been a consultant with specific expertise in assisting businesses with strategy and has been involved in over 160 projects. His experience spans many industries and he has worked with many blue-chip B2C and B2B companies. Jeff (multi-lingual in Spanish and Portuguese) has truly worldwide experience having performed field audits, run workshops and worked with the trade in over 50 countries. His work includes developing customer-focused business strategies, running board-level business improvement projects and creating customer-facing organisations. He is a Certified Management Consultant of the Institute of Consultancy, a member of the IOD and also sits on the Board and is an active Director of an oilfield engineering company.
