What is the Huawei 'Digital Seeds for the Future' Programme?
We are offering UK undergraduates – studying STEM or related disciplines (e.g. Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Computing) the opportunity to participate in a 4-week online training programme in June and July 2022.
During the programme, UK participants will have access to three weeks of bespoke live content covering a wide range of topics, from innovation in the UK to entrepreneurship in China; the role of 5G in transforming business models; as well as the role technology is playing in tackling climate change.
The programme will culminate with 8 days of activities led by Huawei HQ in Shenzhen, where participants will have a chance to meet Seeds for the Future participants from other countries and to hear more about how Huawei operates as a global ICT business. Participants will also benefit from technical training from some of the finest professionals in the industry and will have access to virtual tours of Huawei’s state-of-the-art facilities in China.
Since 2011 we have provided over 350 UK undergraduates with the opportunity to learn about Huawei and China – an invaluable addition to any CV when looking for a job after graduation.
