The University has definitely prepared me for my career. I almost feel as though they couldn’t have given me anything more, I got everything that I could have wanted from them, and it’s nice now to have the opportunity to go out and put that preparation into practice

There are fantastic facilities on campus especially the Student’s Union and library and there is always something happening to keep you entertained.

I have been put in great schools for my placement and this has really set me up for my future career as a primary teacher. I was also lucky enough to travel to Kenya and teach over there. This was an incredible experience that I will remember for the rest of my life!

The MSc in education provides many diverse pathways which are perfect for any individual looking to gain or enhance their understanding about educational issues that really matter to them

I particularly enjoyed the inclusion modules that you can do about social justice and inclusion in the classroom. I was also very lucky in that I could work with dyslexia specialists.

I wanted the kind of course that would give me the chance to be able to contribute to policy making in my country and fortunately I found what I wanted in Southampton

The team at the education school were fantastic. They were always supportive and there to help, both with qualifying as a teacher and finding a permanent job at the end of my studies. They made every effort to tailor the placement to your needs and aspirations, whilst providing a range of places to train.
