Students can contact the either the Student Disability and Inclusion Team or the Student Wellbeing Team via the Student Hub on studenthub@soton.ac.uk or by calling 02380 599 599.

Appointment-based services offered online

• Student Support Appointments – Disability or Specific Learning Differences
• Specialist Study Skills appointments
• Wellbeing appointments

All of our appointment-based services are continuing to offer student appointments via Microsoft Teams video or audio call. Students who may have an SpLD can continue to access specialist study skills support through the Student Disability and Inclusion Team.

Appointments are being offered between 9:00 – 17:00 during weekdays, based on practitioner and student availability. Please contact studenthub@soton.ac.uk  to arrange an appointment. You will be sent guidance on how to prepare for the appointment in advance.

If a student is unable to access online appointments for reasons related to their disability or circumstances, we will work with them to arrange an in-person appointment safely.

Remote Assessment Policy

The University has approved a recommended approach to reasonable adjustments for remote assessment to ensure continued compliance with the Equality Act 2010. This aims to maximise the accessibility of digital assessment and reduce the need for individual adjustments.
