Engineering graduation ceremonies celebrate student achievements
Hundreds of engineering students graduated in ceremonies on a sun-kissed Highfield Campus this month, celebrating outstanding achievements in their subjects at the University of Southampton.
The new graduates were joined by family and friends on Tuesday 23rd July and Wednesday 24 July as they completed their studies in civil and environmental, mechanical, aerospace, acoustical and maritime engineering.
Ceremonies celebrated the awarding of 98 BEng, 318 MEng, one BSc, 204 MSc degrees, as well as PhDs.
This year’s graduation also honoured the first cohort of Aeronautics and Astronautics students from the University of Southampton Malaysia Campus and the fourth for Mechanical Engineering studies.
As part of the celebrations, a number of industry and University awards were presented to exceptional students for their academic and project work.
