Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is vital to all aspects of our everyday lives and is everywhere you look. It involves the design, construction and operation of mechanical systems and has a central role in many professional industries.

Our courses bring together creativity and design with mathematical and scientific principles, providing you with the fundamentals of engineering alongside the skills you need to become a successful engineer.

You can either choose to retain a broad-based study path with our BEng and MEng Mechanical Engineering, or to select one of our 10 specialised degrees.

This three-year course covers the essential principles of mechanical engineering, such as mechanics, structures and materials, design and computing.

MEng Mechanical Engineering

MEng Mechanical Engineering

This four-year integrated masters will provide you with the opportunity to study a wider range of advanced subjects, extending your knowledge and skills through a major group design project.

If you have not taken the required A level subjects for direct entry to your chosen degree, then you can take our one-year Foundation Year. We also have a campus in Malaysia that offers our MEng Mechanical Engineering degrees.
