Dr Sally Keenan is Emeritus Fellow in Film at the University of Southampton.

Sally Keenan completed her PhD in Literature at the University of Essex in 1992. She starting teaching at the University of Southampton in 1998.

Research interests

Research interests range from contemporary women’s writing and feminist theory, postcolonial literature and theory, diasporic writing (especially the black African diaspora) through cultural management (particularly as applied to the film industry) and film policy in the UK.
