Celebrate the accomplishments of the Wessex Genomic Medicine Centre in promoting genomic medicine for patients and families with rare disease and cancer in the Wessex region.
As we mark the end of recruitment to the national 100,000 Genomes Project, we will also look ahead to delivering its legacy within the new Genomic Medicine Service for England, from 2019 onwards.
Professor Dame Sue Hill, Chief Scientific Officer for England, will present the national plans for the new Genomic Medicine Service and reflect on the achievements of the 100k Genomes Project over the last five years. Wessex presentations will be given by contributors from across the region, showcasing local achievements and plans for the future.
