Set up your computing account
To access the services and facilities you must subscribe to create your new computing account.
Congratulations! The time is almost here for you to begin your university journey with us. Your first week as a student will be an incredibly busy period so we have made it as easy as possible to carry out many of the important tasks before you arrive in order to free up your time.
If you are an international student and wish to be picked up from the airport as part of our Meet & Greet service then please fill in the form and return it to Enrol.Malaysia@soton.ac.uk.
All students need to bring the induction checklist with them when they first arrive.
More details on each of the steps you need to complete as part of your induction can be found below.
Enrol online
Once you have set up your new computing account you can enrol online.
Apply for your ID card
After enrolling you need to apply for your University ID card.
International Student Visa
Prepare your documents for registration. Only applicable to international students.
Have you paid your fees?
Check that you have paid your fees and bring your receipt to registration.
Special requirements?
Inform us if you have a specific learning difficulty or disability.
