NETSCC manages research activities on behalf of the NIHR 

The NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC), based at the University of Southampton, manages evaluation research programmes and activities for the NIHR, and plays an important role in improving the health and wealth of the nation through research. NETSCC also plays an important role in supporting the university to work towards its goal of being ranked within the world’s top-50.

NETSCC is part of the Wessex Institute, and has been contracted by the Department of Health to manage evaluation research programmes and activities primarily as part of the research work strand of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

The NIHR funding programmes we manage have a national and international reputation for high-quality research and research management.
