Water supply returned to all campus buildings

Following yesterday’s (Tuesday, 4 May, 2021) disruption to water supply in the Southampton area, the issue was resolved overnight by Southern Water and supply has resumed to Glen Eyre Halls and all campus buildings.

Some buildings may still be experiencing low water pressure, but Southern Water has confirmed it is safe to drink and use.

Staff and students are able to return to work and study in all buildings, including those affected yesterday.

Please do take a moment to check that any taps that may have been left open are closed to avoid flooding now that the water has returned.

If further updates are necessary, please keep an eye on our corporate Twitter account, our website and the Southern Water incident page.
