I like to be on shore counting things!

Research interests

  • Rocky shore community ecology
  • Long-term change in relation to climate using rocky-shore indicators
  • Predator-prey interactions
  • Behavioural ecology of intertidal grazers
  • Ecology and design of sea defences
  • Taxonomy and phylogeography of North East Atlantic and Mediterranean Patellids (Limpets), Cirripedes (Barnacles) and Trochids (Gastropods)
  • Maintaining long-term datasets
