For researchers and staff

If you are a researcher at the University of Southampton looking to showcase your project at Southampton Science and Engineering Festival, please note that the internal call at the University of Southampton for contributors usually opens in December/early January.

An 'Exhibitor Registration' call will be posted on SUSSED, Staff Matters, on the Public Engagement Network (PEN) MS Teams channel and sent to the PEN mailing list. These internal communications will contain information to submit your activity.

The call will also be announced on the PERu social media profiles, so follow #SOTSEF and @UoS_Engagement on TwitterFacebook and Instagram to stay in the loop.

If you wish to join the PEN mailing list, please e-mail peru@southampton.ac.uk and include your Department and field of research if applicable.

For students

Undergraduate and postgraduate students and student societies are more than welcome to submit relevant content to be included in the Festival programme. See the section above for more details regarding the registration call.

To stay updated with the latest news and announcements (including personal development opportunities), don't forget to join the Public Engagement Network MS Teams channel too and follow #SOTSEF and @UoS_Engagement on social media.

Students at the University of Southampton looking to volunteer alongside researchers or staff, or to be paid to work as a Student Ambassador are asked to get in touch by sending an e-mail to festival@southampton.ac.uk from mid January or to check with their local Student Ambassador scheme.

For external exhibitors

This call is open to national and international collaborators of researchers at the University of Southampton, freelance artists, public engagement professionals, local cultural venues, schools, trusts and community groups.

To be among the first to find out when the exhibitors' registration open, sign up to the UoS Festival Exhibitors mailing list and start following #SOTSEF and @UoS_Engagement on TwitterFacebook and Instagram to remain updated.

If you are an external exhibitor hoping to engage with the public at Southampton Science and Engineering Festival, please e-mail us at festival@southampton.ac.uk to further discuss your ideas.
