Chris Armstrong wins York Political Theory Manuscript competition
The York Political Theory Manuscript competition is awarded annually to a book in political theory which is close to completion. The winning manuscript is the subject of a dedicated workshop. This year's winner is Professor Chris Armstrong's book-in-progress on Ocean Justice. In March 2021, a (virtual) workshop will take place on it at the University of York, with contributions from Cara Nine, Torsten Thiele, Petra Gumplova, and Dimitris Efthymiou.

Chris Armstrong is a Professor of Political Theory at the University of Southampton, where he has worked since 2005. He has degrees from the Universities of Durham, Bristol, and the London School of Economics.
