The University of Southampton
Psychology graduate leavers pack

Postgraduate study is a popular option for many Southampton graduates. Research conducted by the Higher Education Statistics Agency suggests that average postgraduate salaries were £5,500 to £7,500 higher than for those with a first degree alone (based on the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education Survey completed six months after graduation). Of our postgraduate students, 96% were in employment or further education within six months of leaving the University. There are a variety of study routes available and they need researching before you decide whether this is the next step for you to take.
