The 2023 Student Money Questionnaire is now closed.
We would like to thank everyone who completed the survey as well as those who to part in focus groups and interviews, providing a more in dept understanding of their financial impact while studying.
The insights gained by this survey, the focus groups and interviews, will be used to understand and enhance the experience of our student population at Southampton through the creation of interventions to improve financial education, ensure financial support is targeted correctly and that financial support is easily accessible when needed.

From 2023/24, the Financial Support Team are offering webinars on topics such as budgeting and how to manage your finances. The Money Matters newsletter was also launch in 2023/24. Sign up to receive the newsletter here.
Improvements have been made to the website to make eligibility criteria for our funds clearer. From 2023/24 a separate funds for international/EU student and Home UK students will be provided to make the application process easier. Promoting of the funds has increased via events, library drop ins and the Money Matters newsletter.
