What was your academic and professional background before you joined the CDT?
Philosophy (Bachelors), Philosophy of Science and Technology (Master of Science), tech startup (mobile applications).
Why did you choose to study Web Science?
I was attracted to the idea of studying emerging technology issues from an interdisciplinary perspective.
What was you PhD research topic?
Privacy and data protection.
What were the benefits of being part of the CDT?
There is a fantastic range of tutors and fellow students and peer support. You are always encouraged to undertake interdisciplinary work and learn new skills and methods along the way.
What are you future ambitions?
I plan to continue with a career in Academia.
