The University of Southampton
Web Science Institute

A Global Organisation

Our academics are taking the message about the WSI and our research to all corners of the globe through a broad range of international visits and activities.

WSI Directors deliver keynote talks and lectures about Web Science and Artificial Intelligence around the world, and our Web Science students take part in research partnerships to build links with other organisations.

We are also home to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) UK and Ireland Office – an international community that develops open standards to ensure the long-term growth of the Web, and are host to The Web Science Trust - a registered charity that aims to support the global development of Web Science.
