Professor named in Debrett's 500 most influential people in the UK

Dame Professor Wendy Hall, Executive Director of the Web Science Institute has been recognised in the Engineering and Technology category of the prestigious Debrett's 500.

Published in association with The Sunday Times, the Debrett’s 500 recognises the most influential and inspiring people living and working in Britain today. The 2015 list included a number of people connected to the University of Southampton such as Professor Sir David Payne, Visiting Professor Liam Maxwell and Professor Sir Tim Berners-Lee.

Dame Wendy who is one of the most respected computer science academics in the UK was also named as 'The Most Influential Woman in UK IT 2014' by Computer Weekly.
