DTC/CDT Writing Retreat 2018

The Centre for Doctoral Training 'Writing Retreat' was held this year at Cumberland Lodge, located in the the middle of the Windsor Great Park from 5-8th January.

A Writing Retreat is run each year and the aim of these events is to support an intensive three days of writing, with peer and mentorship.

There were 8 students and 2 academics attending along with two Alumni who answered questions and gave advice on the later stages of qualifying and information about the Viva.

A guest talk was also given by Jen McCall of Emerald Publishing who gave a talk about converting PhDs into books or monograms.
