CDT Annual Winter Networking Event

Over fifty CDT students, alumni and staff gathered for the annual Winter Networking event at the Maritimo Lounge in Ocean Village, Southampton.

This was also an opportunity to say farewell to Professor Susan Halford, CDT Co-Director, who would be leaving the University at the end of December. Professor Les Carr thanked her for her valuable contribution over recent years. Susan acknowledged how the profile of the Web Science Institute and the CDT had increased during her tenure, and emphasised the important ongoing contribution of Web Science research in shaping future society. She looked forward to continuing her involvement as an external member of the Advisory Board.
