iPhD students celebrate MSc Graduation

The CDT’s 2017 cohort have completed the MSc Web Science programme and received their awards at the University’s Winter Graduation ceremony.

This first year of the iPhD programme provides students with broad socio-technical training in preparation for carrying out interdisciplinary doctoral research in Web Science. Their PhD topics include violence and the Web, AI and democratic decision-making, social media teaching in secondary schools, mobile language learning applications, online radicalisation, quantum communication and web-based interventions to promote physical activity.
