Professor Steven Meers, is a successful engineer and works within UK government specialising in the application of AI, machine learning and data science to Defence and Security challenges. He is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for AI and data science across a business with approximately 4000 employees and a turnover of around £650 million and provides advice at the most senior levels with the Ministry of Defence.
