WSI Executive Director named in WSAI Top 50 AI Innovators list

The World Summit AI community has named Professor Dame Wendy Hall as one of their Top 50 Innovators for 2022, placing her at number 14 on the list. 
 
As an avid campaigner for AI in the UK, she has co-authored an independent report, ‘Growing the Artificial Intelligence Industry in the UK’, was co-Chair of the UK government's AI Review and is the UK's first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Skills Champion. One of the world’s foremost computer scientists she plays a leading role in shaping science and engineering policy and education in the UK and internationally. 
 
Of her listing, Dame Wendy said: “this is a great list to be a part of and I’m thrilled to have been acknowledged by the WSAI community”.
