The NSS shows that satisfaction amongst Southampton’s students with the overall quality of their undergraduate courses rose from 86 per cent last year to 88 per cent this year. The university increased its satisfaction levels in 17 of the 23 core questions asked in the survey, which look at all areas of the student experience, from Academic Support to the Students’ Union.

Overall 93 per cent of Biological Sciences students were satisfied or very satisfied with the teaching on their course and 98 per cent students were satisfied or very satisfied that staff were good at explaining things on their course.  This is a reflection of the hard work and commitment from our teaching staff and we are pleased that the undergraduate student community value the excellent teaching experience we offer them here at Southampton.
