Engineers are creative problem solvers who can apply their skills to a wide range of industries. Our range of outreach activities aim to share our passion for science and offer an insight into our work by offering educational and interactive activities led by engineering students and academic staff.

Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton runs an extensive outreach and widening participation programme. This ranges from in-school talks to residential courses and our ground-breaking TEAtime lecture series.

We work with local schools, colleges and community groups to ensure that events inspire the next generation of engineers.
