CHEP provides opportunities for academic professional development (research and education) for all staff across the university.
We achieve this by working with partners across the university to make available a wide range of professional learning activities, ranging from formal courses and programmes, through faculty-based workshops and networks, to the production of resources and the sharing of good practice. Our aim is to ensure that all professional learning activities are provided in meaningful and contextualised formats, addressing the needs of diverse groups and individuals.

We will provide opportunities for all academic staff and PGRs to meet and evidence university agreed standards of competence & excellence in all areas of academic practice, throughout their academic careers.

The content on our site is intended to inform, inspire and celebrate good practice. You will also be able to find links to the courses on offer as well as CPD (continuous professional development) sessions.
