On Tuesday 16th February 2016 the 1st Bioengineering showcase event was held at the observatory of life science's building (Building 85), Highfield campus.
The aim of the event was to highlight the ongoing research activities in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment to 2nd year students interested in the bioengineering theme, as well as those already in the area, MSc AMES bio students, and those considering a PhD in bioengineering.
During the showcase staff, researchers and students working in bioengineering were able to mix with undergraduate cohort to inspire them to pursue a career in this area.
