Exam Timetables

The Academic Year 2019/20 Exam Dates:

Semester 1 exams: Monday 13 January - Friday 24 January 2020 (but possibly including Saturday 18 and 25 January)

Semester 2 exams: Monday 18 May - Friday 5 June 2020 (excluding Bank Holiday Monday 25 May but possibly including Saturday 23 and 30 May)

Supplementary exams: Monday 17 August - Friday 28 August 2020 (possibly including Saturday 22 August)

Pre-Sessional exams: To be confirmed


Semester 1 Exam Timetable:

The Semester 1 timetable is now published, please see 'Useful Downloads' at the bottom of this page.

We would advise that it will still be subject to change due to 'exceptional circumstances' so please check this website frequently until your individual timetable is published.

Your individual timetable will be published on you SUSSED account no later than Monday 16 December.

Your individual exam timetable will show a definitive time/date and the location and seat number for your exams.  Please use the seating plans which can be found at the bottom of this page to determine your exact location.  If you have a missing exam or have been scheduled onto the wrong exam please do not worry but you will need to contact us either in person at Building 37, Room 2083 or by phone 0044 (0) 23 8059 2823 or by email at

Please note: if exams are cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances (for instance inclement weather, sudden loss of exam venues) they may be rescheduled to any other day within term time at short notice.  You should bear this in mind if you plan to leave the campus as you risk being unable to complete your required assessment.  This may mean that you are unable to progress your academic studies.  For details of term time please see the Term Dates Calendar.

Feedback on your Semester 2 Exams 2018 Experience:

Do you have feedback for us?  We appreciate any feedback to help us continue to improve our services.  If you wish this feedback to remain anonymous then please relay your thoughts to your Student Union Representative (please be aware there may be a delay in us receiving your feedback).  If you require a direct reply to your feedback please email straight after your exam so we can take action if required in a timely manner.  All emails sent to the email address will be replied to.

If you have a complaint about any aspect of your exam we commit to carrying out an investigation and responding to you within 48 hours.  Please contact us direct on as soon as possible after the exam ends (preferably within 12 hours).  We are not able to respond to complaints made through social media sites.

If you are experiencing unmanageable levels of stress or anxiety, for which you need support, please contact the First Support team who are the initial point of contact in supporting students during times of crisis.  Further information is available from the Counselling Service.
