Private rented support service

The Private Rented Support Service (PRSupport) provides a first point of contact and support for University of Southampton students experiencing welfare issues who live outside of our Halls of Residence, between the hours of 18.00 and 08.00.

The private rented support service can be contacted any time between 18.00 and 08.00 by calling +44(0)23 8059 8040 (internally on 28040), by emailing us at prsupport@soton.ac.uk or face to face by appointment at one of our locations listed below.

 PR Support hub locations

You can arrange an appointment to meet a member of the PRSupport team at any one of the following locations at any time by contacting the PRSupport team using the above email address and phone number. Alternatively from 4th January 2016 you can also visit without an appointment at one of our scheduled dedicated drop in times.

• Mayflower Halls of Residence - Drop in runs every Thursday from 8pm - 10pm. Please press the call button on the gates on either West Park Road (near the U2 bus stop) or on Commercial Road (between the Co-Op and Mayflower Theatre) and a member of staff will let you into the halls complex.

• Wessex Lane Halls of Residence - Drop in runs every Wednesday from 8pm - 10pm. The main entrance to Wessex Lane is on the right hand side when you enter the complex.

• Glen Eyre Halls of Residence - Drop in runs every Monday from 8pm - 10pm. The main entrance to Wessex Lane is on the left hand side when you enter the complex.

• Highfield Campus (building 32) - Drop in runs every Tuesday from 8pm - 10pm. You will need to enter the main building at the security entrance, near the car park. Press the call button outside the main doors and a member of staff will meet you.
