New Book from Professor Jussi Parikka

WSA professor and AMT Director Jussi Parikka’s book has been published by Peter Lang (New York).

The book is the 2nd., updated edition of his book Digital Contagions: A Media Archaeology of Computer Viruses . The new edition includes a preface by professor Sean Cubitt, outlining the book’s role as part of the part years of media theoretical debate about network cultures of contagion and security. The new edition was also endorsed by cultural theorist, professor Tiziana Terranova who wrote: “Thoroughly researched and methodologically innovative, an extraordinary book that has become a classic in its field."
