Alexander Culley is a Doctor of Business Administration Candidate within Southampton Business School.

He is a Barrister of England and Wales (unregistered, Call: 2010, Lord Diplock Scholar of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple). He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Alexander has 14 years of professional compliance experience. He is currently the Chief Compliance Officer EMEA and Asia for a major investment firm and payment services institution. This is active in the securities, foreign exchange and commodities markets.

Before this role, he has been a Group Compliance Officer and a non-executive director at another large brokerage.

Research interests

Alexander's PhD research is on 'Conduct risks and their mitigation in algorithmic fixed income, currency and commodities markets'. Supervisors for this project are, Professor Simon Wolfe and Professor Frank McGroarty.
