Overview
Fundación Mexicana para la Educación, la Tecnología y la Ciencia (FUNED) is a non-profit foundation that offers low-cost loans to Mexican students.
If you receive a FUNED scholarship, you will receive a 15% tuition fee discount for an eligible postgraduate master's programme at the University of Southampton.
This award is available for full-time, 1-year taught master's programmes in the following subjects:
- Architecture
- Business administration and finance
- Economics
- Engineering
- International relations
- International trade and political science
- Law

Eligibility
To get this scholarship you must:
- be an international student from Mexico required to pay the oversees fees
- have an offer to study an eligible postgraduate taught programme
- receive a FUNED loan
Permanent residency
Permanent residency
We consider your permanent residency to be where you have lived for 3 or more years before the start of the course.
This does not include where you have been living solely for study purposes if it is different from your permanent place of residency.
