Visiting during COVID-19

Advice for open day visitors


Please take the following precautions to visit us safely during an open day: 

  • wear face coverings inside our buildings
  • visit with no more than 2 guests
  • stay 2 metres apart from people who are not your guests
  • follow one-way signs in our buildings or on campus
  • wash and sanitise your hands regularly

Get a COVID-19 test before you visit

We encourage everyone to get a lateral flow test before visiting campus.

If you can't attend an open day because you've tested positive, we'll arrange for you to visit on an another date in September or October.

Come by train

Southampton is 2 hours from London and has direct connections to many other cities.

Southampton Airport

Connect to many European destinations. The airport is just a 12-minute bus ride from Highfield Campus.

Coach services

Several coach companies run services to Southampton and Winchester.
