I am an Occupational Therapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation and specialist palliative care.

I am an Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Lecturer and Admissions Tutor for the BSc (Hons) and MSc occupational therapy programs at the University of Southampton.

I joined the University of Southampton in 2012 as a clinical secondee and skills facilitator. In 2016 I joined the occupational therapy team as admissions tutor and occupational therapy lecturer. I am currently studying part-time for a Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD).

Making Internationalisation a Reality for Occupational Therapy Students (MIROTS): An Erasmus + funded transnational occupational therapy education project(s) with international partners National University Ireland, Galway; Lund University, Sweden; Bournemouth University, UK.
Further development of MIROTS projects with additional partners in Artevelde University, Ghent; University of Sydney, Australia.

Research projects

With current financial support from the Elizabeth Casson Trust, I am completing a Professional Doctorate of Education (EdD). I am developing a research project titled “The assessment, identification and recording of academic and professional skills used by United Kingdom Higher Education Institutions at the point of selection onto pre-registration Occupational Therapy programmes: Development of a core recruitment and selection outcome set”.
