Mrs Nichola Strandberg is a postgraduate research student within Ocean and Earth Science, National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the University of Southampton.
I am currently researching the long-term ecology of South Pacific islands predominantly using fossil pollen as a proxy for past vegetation change.
I completed my MSc. in Quaternary Science and Climate Development at Stockholm University where I wrote my thesis on environmental change and human impacts in Gotland, Sweden based on pollen.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Geography at Liverpool John Moores University, which included an Erasmus study exchange year at Umeå University, Sweden.
