Dr. Andra Roescu PhD
Research Fellow

Andra Roescu is a Research Fellow on the Project ‘Social and Political Change in Britain: Gallup Polls 1945-1991’ within Politics and International Relations at the University of Southampton.
I joined the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Southampton in October 2019. In my role as Research Fellow, I work on digitalising historical Gallup surveys on British public opinion and I research changes over time in British social and political attitudes, with a focus on attitudes towards health care and other welfare policies.
Prior to joining the Department, I was Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, researching the public opinion-policy link in the field of health care and a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, as part of HEALTHDOX, a Norface funded project focusing on the future of Health Care Systems across Europe. I hold a PhD in political science from the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration.
