I am a PhD researcher at the University of Southampton and a Health psychology trainee.

My PhD research involves developing an online intervention to support the psychological needs of people with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and their family members. I am using the Person-Based Approach to develop and evaluate the intervention. 

I have completed my MSc in Health Psychology and have previously worked with people with Parkinson’s disease and in palliative care settings.

 

Research interests

I am interested in improving the management of chronic conditions, in particular working with people with neurodegenerative conditions and those receiving palliative care. I am also interested in improving access and delivery of psychological support for people with chronic conditions.
