The School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation have announced the joint appointment of Professor Kathryn Woods-Townsend and Dr Ajejandra Recio Saucedo as their new Deputy Heads of School Research (DHoSR).
Kath and Alejandra replace Dr Geoff Frampton, whose term has come to an end after 3 years in the role.
The DHOSR role has responsibility for developing and delivering the research vision and strategy of the school, ensuring it is aligned to the university and faculty strategic priorities, objectives and values. The role also supports the Associate Dean (Research) in the delivery of faculty research strategy.
Head of School Professor Cheryl Metcalf said: "First of all, I’d like to express my thanks to Dr. Geoff Frampton, who has done an outstanding job as DHOSR over the past three years.I'm excited by this joint appointment, as Alejandra and Kath come from very different professional backgrounds and different parts of our school, and that brings a valuable mix of perspectives and experience. I'm delighted to be working with them both on this important work."

Dr Alejandra Recio Saucedo and Professor Kath Woods-Townsend start immediately and will jointly hold this post for the next three years.
