Biological sciences

Student wearing a lab sits at a bench in a laboratory, surrounded by microscopes and technical equipment. He holds and takes a part a model of a human brain.
Explore some of the biggest problems facing the planet, from global warming to animal extinction and disease. Develop specialist skills in areas like biology, zoology or neuroscience.

Our courses offer flexible modules and field or laboratory placements. Past placements have included Pfizer, Kew gardens, and conservation trusts. Spend a semester abroad at one of our partnership universities, or work on a summer research project through a vacation scholarship. After your degree, our graduate school will connect you to academic and industrial partners from around the world. Graduates move into fields like medicine, environmental research, or wildlife research.
