About this course
This radiochemistry course is an introductory course in radioanalytical techniques and theory.
Day 1
- Basic lab techniques (Unit 10)
- Sample preparation for radioanalytical characterisation (Unit 11)
- Radiometric Instrumentation (Unit 3)
- Liquid Scintillation Counting (Unit 5)
- ISO/IEC 17025 (Unit 9a)
Day 2
- Mathematical techniques and counting statistics (Unit 2 / 2b)
- QA and method validation (unit 9b)
- Radiochemical separation techniques (Unit 4)
- Advanced separation techniques (Unit 12)

Learning and assessment
This in-person course at the University of Southampton's Waterfront Campus includes access to our on-site radioanalytical laboratories. You'll receive a copy of the notes and a certificate of attendance.
