This is aimed to be an introductory course to various aspects of radiochemistry and the content will include:
principles of radiometric measurements including types of detectors
mathematical concepts in radiochemistry
general laboratory techniques
sample preparation
radiochemical separation techniques
liquid scintillation counting
quality control in a radiochemical laboratory
counting statistics, errors / uncertainties and limits of detection
