Module overview

This module introduces students to dynamic macroeconomics, focusing on how economic decisions made affect today and future economic outcomes. Using unified micro-founded general equilibrium fremework, students analyse consumption, labour demand and supply, saving, and investment decisions in an intertemporal setting. Students learn to use this model to analyse the effects of economic shocks and evaluate policy interventions on long term growth and business cycle fluctuations. Pre-requisite for ECON3010
