- A basic understanding of experimental techniques in electrochemical research so that the student is able to design experiments that use the basic techniques.
Syllabus
Students will complete the following practicals:
Basic treatment of electrochemical data with origin (computer based)
Factors affecting instrumental response in electrochemistry (laboratory based)
Simulations of electrochemical reactions (computer based)
Electrochemical experiments with a rotating disc electrode (laboratory based)
Cyclic voltammetry (laboratory based)
