The aircraft that the University of Southampton has developed is shown right.

This aircraft is a high reliable and robust aircraft which is capable of flying at nearly 100 mph and for over 5 hours.

It is designed to be used by coastal organisation such as coastguards, port authorities, police forces and search and rescue teams. Its main role is to patrol coastal areas for long periods looking out for things such as pollution, illegal activities and vessels in distress.
