NNUF-EXACT is an established research and development space at the University of Southampton and is part of the National Nuclear User Facility.

NNUF-EXACT (Next Generation Accelerated Characterisation Technologies) provides a ‘test-bed’ facility for research and development in the fields of nuclear characterisation and remediation, enabling evaluation and validation of new technologies using nuclear relevant materials and radiotracers.

The facility comprises of a suite of easily accessible project laboratories which are capable of handling radioactive materials and able to offer a flexible user configurable environment to host user’s equipment and experimental set-ups.
