The NNUF-EXACT Facility

 

NNUF-EXACT, part of the National Nuclear Users Facility, is a newly established radioanalytical research space within the University of Southampton. The facility is located at the National Oceanography Centre and is funded by the EPSRC.

NNUF-EXACT (Next Generation Accelerated Characterisation Technologies) aims to be a world-leading radiochemistry facility enabling research and training in accelerated nuclear characterisation and remediation technologies underpinning civil nuclear programmes, decommissioning and site clean-up and new nuclear infrastructure.

The facility is now open for access by external users and for remote access (EXACT staff completing research on the users behalf).

NNUF-EXACT Industry Engagement Event 2021

We will be holding our first Industry Engagement Event on-line on 20th May 2021.
