Barbara Brown studied music at Kings College, London and is a former member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra where she played for 8 years.
She has freelanced with all of the major London Orchestras and has toured widely giving concerts all over Europe, America, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
As well as symphony orchestra work, Barbara has worked extensively with Welsh National Opera and has played much chamber music.
Barbara taught piccolo at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for several years and has been an examiner for the Associated Board. Barbara has been dedicated to her teaching throughout her career and thrives on the fact that there is always so much more to learn!
