Teaching
I am currently the listening and speaking curriculum lead for the Pre-sessional programmes. I have also been working with academic staff from Southampton Business School in a ‘teacher trainer’ capacity to help with communicative aspects of lecture delivery such as maximising the voice, building confidence and developing strategies for engaging students. I am particularly interested the development of oral communication skills, public speaking and delivery. I am also interested in methods of assessment, particularly for listening and speaking, teacher training and peer development.
