I am a PhD student focusing on the interactions between an invasive plant species and the wider ecosystem with a focus on plant-microbe interactions.
I have experience investigating both plant-associated bacteria and plant-associated fungi in conservation and agricultural contexts respectively.
I am undertaking a PhD which will investigate how the invasive species Rhododendron ponticum interacts with native plant species and microbes, as well as how these interactions may be altered by climate change.
