About

My career has spanned both the fashion industry and higher education, experiences that continue to shape how I teach, research and lead today.

As Programme Leader for Fashion Marketing with Management at Winchester School of Art, I am interested in how creative education can bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice. I work with students, colleagues and industry partners to develop learning experiences that are relevant, challenging and connected to the realities of the contemporary fashion landscape.

Much of my work focuses on curriculum innovation, assessment design and creating opportunities for students to engage with live projects, interdisciplinary collaboration and industry experiences. I am particularly interested in how creativity, business thinking and research can come together to support student development and graduate success.

In 2020, I was awarded Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of my contribution to teaching and learning. Alongside my leadership role, I am currently exploring contemporary approaches to fashion education and the evolving relationship between creativity, industry and pedagogy.

What continues to motivate me is working with students and colleagues to develop new ideas, challenge established ways of thinking and create educational experiences that have lasting value beyond the classroom.
