About

Celia Lourenco is a Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise Fellow. She is a member of the S3 (Spectroscopy, Spectrometry and Structure) research group in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Southampton.

Celia's research employs trace gas detection and analysis to investigate targeted chemical compounds or chemical signatures in the gas phase. Her work focuses on the study of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using advanced chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques, with applications in non-invasive early disease detection and environmental monitoring.
